Lasagne Lentils
Lasagne Lentils
A bolognese lentil mix. Perfect for whatever you use bolognese for. Victorian lentils and organic spices + herbs, you add tomatoes + let the lentils do the rest. Serves four.
To Make
To a medium sized saucepan add the Lasagne Lentil mix, 2 cans of diced tomatoes (or 3 cups of passata) and 2 cans (or 4 cups) of water.
Bring to the boil and simmer for 30-40 minutes or until the lentils are tender, stirring regularly. You may need to add some more boiling water if the lentils thicken too quickly.
Rice Cooker Method -
- Add contents of packet into rice cooker
- Flip the switch to cook (*white rice setting, if your cooker is fancy-like)
- Allow the spices to dry-fry for a min or two
- Add 2 cans chopped tomatoes + 3 cans of water
- Shut the lid, walk away, I've got it from here (pick up the kiddos from school, meditate, sit down with a nice bevy, do a quick yoga class, paint your nails, pop on a sheet-mask, watch an ep. + doom scroll) I'll beep when dinner's ready.
